Bury LETS is the Local Exchange Trading Scheme covering Bury St. Edmunds and the surrounding areas.

Members can exchange goods and services and make new friends at the same time.

Bury LETS is a non-profit-making organisation with an increasing membership, run by and for local residents.

Bury LETS allows you to provide a gardening service for one person today and have your hair cut by another tomorrow, without using cash.

Bury LETS has a wide choice of goods that can be traded, here are a few examples of goods that have been traded at market places recentley (this is no where near a full list but should give a few ideas):

Herbs
Jams
Home cooked curry
Second hand (sorry, vintage) clothes
Books
Birthday cards
Craft items - such as fabric paints and papers
Un-used house hold items - for instance a brand new salad spinner
